Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators

The GLA Chapter of the ALA, with 360+ members throughout the Los Angeles metro area, was growing quickly and was very active with regular luncheons and other networking opportunities. Its website, however, wasn't keeping pace with a 90's look-and-feel that didn't reflect the vibrancy of the Chapter. Equally problematic, the procedures for updating the website, as well as for keeping track of memberships, event registrations and other Chapter data, were antiquated, resulting in an administrative nightmare for those volunteers entrusted with site and membership management.

Our team worked with GLA's Board to design a new look-and-feel that mirrors the excitement of the metropolis the Chapter calls home. Captivating shots of major LA landmarks adorn the home and interior pages. At the same time, all content is database-driven resulting in easy site maintenance.

Perhaps most importantly, with our online membership management software, the Chapter has automated its membership operations allowing adminstrators to log in through a secure, web-based interface to manage website updates, new memberships, dues, event registration, the Chapter job board, and vendor sponsorships. Members can also log in to renew their memberships and pay dues online.
